About the Role:

Ajay Industrial Corporation Ltd is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Sr. Purchase Associate to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, preferably in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry, along with a solid market network and proven negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and services with a focus on sheet metal and related materials
• Identify and develop a reliable vendor base for cost-effective and quality procurement
• Negotiate contracts, prices, delivery timelines, and terms with suppliers
• Maintain strong relationships and connections within the market
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with vendors to ensure compliance
• Work closely with production, quality, and inventory teams for seamless operations
• Prepare and maintain reports related to purchase orders, costs, deliveries, and vendor performance

Candidate Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in purchase/procurement
• Prior experience in the sheet metal industry will be given preference
• In-depth knowledge of purchase processes, vendor management, and market trends
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and documentation
• Must have good market network and supplier connections in the relevant sector
