Position Overview

The Purchase / Store In-Charge will be responsible for managing store and procurement support operations, including material receipt, inventory management, SAP documentation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth material flow and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate all material receipt details to concerned departments in a timely manner.
• Enter purchase invoices in SAP (MM Module) using MIGO, including materials received from fabricators.
• Create material indents and assist in preparing Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP.
• Maintain accurate material issue entries for production in SAP.
• Manage material issuance through challans and ensure proper documentation and system updates.
• Prepare and issue debit notes as per company procedures.
• Create and control gate passes for all inward and outward material movements.
• Execute stock transfer postings for Finished Goods (FG) in SAP.
• Perform job work reconciliation, ensuring proper tracking of issued and received materials.
• Raise purchase intent for trading items and support purchase-related activities.
• Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and compliance with company processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Mandatory hands-on experience in SAP MM Module (MIGO, inventory & store transactions).
• Strong inventory management and storekeeping experience.
• Industry experience mandatory: Candidates must be from a Sheet Metal / Structural Steel manufacturing company.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (inventory tracking, reports, reconciliation).
• Strong coordination skills with Purchase, Production, and other internal teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (Supply Chain / Materials Management preferred).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Store, or Inventory roles.
• Experience in a Sheet Metal / Structural Steel company is mandatory.
• SAP MM experience is compulsory.
