Position: Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Africa
Industry: Agriculture / Agri-Business
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the agriculture sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, farmers, and institutional customers.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets in the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Promote agricultural products and solutions to customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and customer support.
- Prepare sales reports and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in business development or sales within the agriculture industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of agricultural products, markets, and distribution channels.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred:
- Experience in fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, irrigation, farm equipment, or agricultural inputs.
- Existing network within the agriculture industry.
