Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Galvanizing Professional to oversee and optimize our galvanizing operations, ensuring high-quality output, efficient processes, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of galvanizing techniques, equipment maintenance, and production planning with a keen focus on cost control and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Plan, schedule, and supervise galvanizing activities (HP and Cable Tray) to meet delivery targets
• – Inspect galvanizing output and ensure adherence to quality standards and coating thickness requirements
• – Monitor and maintain galvanizing equipment to ensure proper functioning
• – Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the galvanizing process efficiently
• – Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and avoid production delays
• – Maintain accurate records of materials used, stock status, and production output
• – Supervise processes of pickling, hot-dipping, and galvanizing
• – Implement and track cost control measures to enhance operational efficiency
• – Develop and implement strategies to increase production capacity from 15 tons to 50 tons
• – Identify and apply methods to reduce pickling time and zinc wastage
• – Maintain zinc consumption records and stock register
• – Commission and operate the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and ensure record-keeping
• – Ensure chimney and ventilation systems are fully functional
• – Handle procurement and management of chemicals used in pickling

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• – Technical background in galvanizing, metallurgy, or related field
• – Minimum 4 years of experience in galvanizing operations
• – Knowledge of galvanizing standards, quality control, and safety norms
• – Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• – Ability to manage a team and meet tight deadlines
• – Hands-on experience with ETP and pollution control equipment preferred
• – Proficient in production planning and resource management
